Wei Lihua, Chairman and President of Junlebao, stated at the conference that Junlebao has adopted a synchronous independent breeding model at home and abroad. Aisen Technology, its wholly-owned US subsidiary, now has 19 outstanding breeding bulls, 5 of which rank among the world's top 200. Human milk research is a hot spot in current scientific research and also a major subject of Junlebao's basic research. Ning Yibing, Dean of the Nutrition Research Institute of Junlebao Dairy Group, said that Junlebao has detected important active ingredients in human milk samples such as lactoferrin, osteopontin and human milk oligosaccharides, and studied the dynamic changes of various nutrients with lactation time, providing data support for the precise human milk-oriented development of infant formula milk powder. Planning the Industry with Science, Achieving Global Synchronization in Independent Breeding
Dairy cow breeding has always been regarded as the "core chip" of the dairy industry. Dr. Yuan Qingbin, Vice President of Junlebao Dairy Group and General Manager of the R&D Management Center, introduced that Junlebao has focused on the dairy cow breeding track and established Pinyuan Biotechnology, a breeding company, in 2021. The Group owns a number of breeding institutions including a domestic bull station, Aisen Technology (wholly-owned US subsidiary), core breeding farms and embryo transfer demonstration farms, and an embryo laboratory with an annual output capacity of 50,000 embryos has been put into use.
"Aisen Technology now has 19 outstanding breeding bulls, producing 500 top-tier embryos annually, with 5 bulls ranking among the world's top 200," said Dr. Tom Mercurio, a senior breeding engineer from Aisen Technology, introducing Junlebao's current progress in dairy cow breeding at the conference.
At the same time, Hou Xinfeng, Vice President of Junlebao Dairy Group and General Manager of the Animal Husbandry Business Unit, said that in the forage planting sector, Junlebao has cooperated with the Institute of Grassland Science of China Agricultural University to realize scientific forage planting by improving the efficiency and quality of forage cultivation in its own pastures. In the feeding sector, a professional nutrition team has been set up to provide scientific feed supplements for dairy cows. Up to now, Junlebao's dairy cow stock has reached 145,000 heads, ranking among the top three in the industry in terms of breeding scale.

Shortly before the conference, Junlebao set up the Scientific Strategy Think Tank and appointed Academician Wang Enge of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and former President of Peking University as its chairman. The Dairy Innovation Research Institute, built with an investment of 500 million yuan in 2021, has also been upgraded to the Institute of Scientific Nutrition at this Scientific Strategy Launch Conference.
